Hailing from Coney Island, Brooklyn in the late 1940’s Lyn Barrow, 75, brings the vision of true art and innovation from a classic era no longer available in modern time. Combining that with the impactful era of the 1990’s from his son LaTeef, 32, you have the best of both worlds.

LaTeef aka DJ TeeFy has been in the event planning industry since 2015. And with a family filled with barbers and beauticians it was destined for him to finally settle into this profession. ​

Ohana means FAMILY! This father and son duo hold nothing in higher regards than family and community. Deriving the shop name from family tradion, Sonny/Silas is also the name of LaTeef’s Son, Godfather/Uncle, & Great Grandfather! Combining 2 completely different generations of style and art into one. They collaborate to give Columbus something it’s been missing!
